Bahia Honda Park and Beach If you are a Beach Buff - this is the beach for you. Bahia Honda has the most pristine waters in the Continental US.
Located in the heart of Key West, just 2 blocks from Mallory Square is Simonton Street Beach. A small but relaxing place to enjoy swimming or a great view while watching the sunset.
Located on the Atlantic Ocean - Higgs Beach is a great place to spend the day. There are volleyball courts, picnic tables and grills. There is also a restaurant (Salute) located right at the Beach. There are other nature facilities adjacent to the park.
Fort Zachary Taylor Beach is a favorite with the locals. Located in the State Park where the Fort stands. A small entrance fee covers clean facilities including outdoor showers, picnic tables and grills. Enjoy the spectacular sunset from a beach chair, and bring water shoes as the beach is filled with crushed coral!
Smathers Beach is the largest beach on the island. A popular spot for everything from weddings to water sports. There are restrooms, picnic tables and food and equipment rental vendors.
This beach is unique - large boulders on a hillside overlooking the main channel to Key West. It is in Ft Zachary Taylor park at the Southwestern point. This area was known to be adored by Bess Truman.
